This course will teach students to analyze and design photovoltaic (PV) solar energy systems. The course will introduce the components of a PV system, including cells, modules, arrays, battery storage systems, charge controllers, maximum power point trackers, inverters, and mounting systems. The course will cover the design and analysis of grid-connected PV systems at the residential and commercial scale.
